“Always Learning and Learning in All Ways, the Importance of On-line Learning with Holy Family School”
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING RETURN TO SCHOOL PLAN FOR HFS PARENTS AND STUDENTS:
I know that I have stated this several times this summer, but I wanted to again thank you for your patience as we worked through the development of our re-opening plan for Holy Family School. I know that you have all been waiting to see what Holy Family has in store for this unpredictable year of learning for 2020/2021. I am hopeful that you will see the time and effort put into this plan in order to make the safest and healthiest return to school for our families and staff.
Attached you will find a very comprehensive Parent Informational Guide for the Return to School. It is very lengthy, but we tried our best to touch on every topic that has been brought to our attention. Everything we have learned throughout this pandemic is a focus for this school year. Our outline includes several protective measures we will be taking in order to protect our students and employees to the best of our ability. Please take some time to sit down and read through the guide carefully. It is important to keep an open mind as you go through the pages and think about the big picture – the safety of all of our Holy Family members. There is a waiver that is part of the document that will need to be signed prior to the first day of school.
As you read, please keep in mind that any information and procedures given through this plan are subject to change at any time, depending on the course of the pandemic and decisions made by our state and local entities. As always, you will be given the most up to date information as it is released. At this time, the attached guideline is what we have plans to implement beginning August 10th.
It is important for us to set our children up for success regardless of conditions. This school year will without a doubt look very different from other school years, but we as adults must show our kids that when you can’t control a situation, you have to make the best of it. Our positive attitudes will aid in their adjustment. We’re going to have a great year no matter what it looks like!
“Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you, all things are passing by – God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.” -St. Teresa of Avila
Thanks and God Bless,
